68. Surah Al-Qalam, Verse 32

"Perhaps our Lord will grant us better than it. We repent to our Lord."

It may be that our Lord grants us something better than this. Behold, we turn to our Lord affectionately.

“It may be that our Lord will give us in exchange better than it; to our Lord do we turn in hope.”

"Perhaps our Lord will grant us better than it. We repent to our Lord."

"Perhaps our Lord will grant us better than it. We repent to our Lord."

Maybe our Lord will give us something better than it in exchange. We entreat our Lord.’

"May our Lord grant us a better one. We repent to our Lord."

Maybe our Lord will give us better than this. We turn to our Lord in supplication."

Perhaps our Lord will substitute for us [one] better than it. Indeed, we are toward our Lord desirous."

[But] it may be that our Sustainer will grant us something better instead: for, verily, unto our Sustainer do we turn with hope!"

It may be that our Lord will give us better than this in place thereof. Lo! we beseech our Lord.

"It is hoped that Allah, our Creator, may compensate us for our losses with what is better". And thus they, in lowliest plight, repentant stood.

"We repent. May our Lord, out of his Mercy, give us even a better garden."

We hope that our Lord will give us in exchange a better (garden) than this. Truly, we turn to our Lord (wishing for good that He may forgive our sins and reward us in the Hereafter).

"It may be that our Lord will give us in exchange a better (garden) than this: for we do turn to Him (in repentance)!"

We trust our Lord will give us a better garden than this, ˹for˺ we are indeed turning to our Lord with hope."[1]

We hope that our Lord will give us in exchange something better than this. Truly we turn to Allah."

but maybe our Lord will give us something better in its place: we truly turn to Him in hope.’

It may be that our Lord will give us in exchange a better than it; to our Lord we humbly turn. '

Haply our Lord may give us instead a better than it; verily, we unto our Lord do yearn. '

"Maybe, our Lord will give us instead a garden better than this; lo! We beseech (or turn in repentance to) our Lord. "

It may be that our Lord will give us in exchange a more charitable (i. e., better) one than it; surely to our Lord are we desirous (of His Grace)."

Peradventure our Lord will give us in exchange a better garden than this: And we earnestly beseech our Lord to pardon us.

"It may be that our Lord will give us in exchange a better (garden) than this: Truly, we do turn to Him (in repentance)!"

`We hope our Lord will give us something better instead of this. To our Lord surely we turn humbly.'

Maybe our Lord will give us a better one in its place. Indeed we turn earnestly to our Lord.’
