37. Surah As-Saffat, Verse 75

And Noah had called upon Us, for We are the best to respond.

And it was so when Noah cried to Us. Behold, how excellent are We as Responder.

And Noah called to Us — and how excellent were the responders!

And Noah had called upon Us, for We are the best to respond.

Noah had called upon Us, for We are the best to respond.

Nuh called out to Us and what an excellent Responder We are!

Thus, Noah called upon us, and we were the best responders.

Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him).

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders.

And, indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response:

And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer

Nuh invoked Us appealing for aid and how excellent was the divine response!

[Long before them] Noah [at the height of his desperation and after having invited people to the way of God for some years, ] called upon Me. Note what a positive response he got from his Lord.

And indeed Nûh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request).

(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer.

Indeed, Noah cried out to Us, and how excellent are We in responding!

And NūH did call Us (for help after he was disappointed with his people), so (We accepted his prayer, as) We are the best to respond.

Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response!

Noah called to Us; and how excellent were the Answerers!

Noah did call upon us, and a gracious answer did we give;

And Noah did certainly call upon Us, and the most gracious of Hearer of prayer are We.

And indeed, Nûh (Noah) already called out to Us; (i. e., Allah, through the Angels) so how excellent indeed were The Answerers!

Noah called on Us in former days, and We heard him graciously:

And indeed, (in the old days), Nuh (Noah) cried to Us, and We are the best of those to answer him.

And Noah did call upon Us (in his hour of trial); how Gracious We are in answering prayers! (and how excellent a response did We make!)

Certainly Noah called out to Us, and how well We responded!
