37. Surah As-Saffat, Verse 164

Every one of us has a destined place.

The sincere servants say, "Each one of us has an assignment.

“And there is none among us save has an appointed station;

"Every one of us has a destined station."

Every one of us has a destined place.

‘There is not one of us who does not have a known station.

Each one of us has a specific job.

"There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place, " (declare the angels. )

[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.

[All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him];

There is not one of us but hath his known position.

"And none of us say the angels but has a place in a certain rank"

The Angels declare:….

And there is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position);

(Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed;

˹The angels respond,˺ "There is not one of us without an assigned station ˹of worship˺.

And (the angels say,) "There is no one among us who does not have a known station,

[The angels say], ‘Every single one of us has his appointed place:

None of us is there, but has a known station;

there is none amongst us but has his appointed place, and,

(The angels or those who are ranged in ranks say, ) "And there is none of us but has an assigned place,

And in no way is there one of us, (i. e., the angels) except that he has a known station,

There is none of us, but hath an appointed place:

(Those angels arranged in ranks to serve Allah say): "Not even one of us does not have a place appointed;

(The righteous say, ) `Each one of us has his assigned place.

‘There is none among us but has a known place.
