37. Surah As-Saffat, Verse 127

But they denied him. Thus they were called to account.

But they denied him. And they will certainly be called to account.

But they denied him; then are they those summoned,

they denied him and so they will be among those arraigned –

They disbelieved him. Consequently, they had to be called to account.

They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment,

And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment],

But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day],

But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom)

But they counselled deaf and accused him of falsehood and by consequence they shall have much to answer for in Day of Judgement.

The people of Elias did not listen to him; therefore, they will be called to answer for their disbelief.

But they denied him [Iliyâs (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment),

But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),-

But they rejected him, so they will certainly be brought ˹for punishment˺.

Then they rejected him. Therefore, they will be arraigned -

but they rejected him. They will be brought to punishment as a consequence;

But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned,

But they called him liar; verily, they shall surely be arraigned,

But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought forth (to the doom).

Yet they cried him lies; then surely they will indeed be presented forward?"

But they accused him of imposture: Wherefore they shall be delivered up to eternal punishment;

But they denied him, so they will be truly brought up (for punishment)—

But they cried lies to him and they will surely be brought (before God to account for their deeds).

But they impugned him. So they will indeed be arraigned [before Him]
