37. Surah As-Saffat, Verse 125

"Would you call on Ba'al and forsake the best Creator"

You call upon Ba'l, and disregard the Best of creators,

“Will you call to Baal and leave the best of creators:

"Would you call on Ba'al and forsake the best Creator?"

"Would you call on Baal and forsake the best Creator?"

Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators?

"Do you worship a statue, instead of the Supreme Creator?

Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators,

Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators -

Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God, ] the best of artisans -

Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators,

"Do you invoke the idol Ba'l (Baal), he asked, "and neglect the Supreme Creator!"

He said: "How do you dare to worship an idol known as Ba’al instead of the Supreme Creator?"

"Will you call upon Ba‘l (a well known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators,

"Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,-

Do you call upon ˹the idol of˺ Ba’l and abandon the Best of Creators—

Do you invoke Ba‘l, and ignore the Best of the creators,

How can you invoke Baal and forsake the Most Gracious Creator,

Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators?

do ye call upon Baal and leave the best of Creators,

"What! Do you call upon Baal and forsake the best of Creators,

Do you invoke Bacl, and leave out The Fairest of creators,

Do ye invoke Baal, and forsake the most excellent creator?

"Will you call upon the false god (Baal) and give up the Best of Creators—

`Do you call upon Ba`l (- the sun-god), and forsake the Best Creator,

Do you invoke Baal and abandon the best of creators,
