79. Surah An-Nazi'at, Verse 43

You have no knowledge if it.

Why? What do you have to tell them about it? (7:187), (33:63), (42:17).

What is any reminder thereof to thee?

You have no knowledge of it.

You have no knowledge if it.

What are you doing mentioning it?

It is not you (Muhammad) who is destined to announce its time.

What do you have to do with explaining it?

In what [position] are you that you should mention it?

[But] how couldst thou tell anything about it,

Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof?

But how could you satisfy their query when you yourself do not know!

… day that you are talking about will take place.

You have no knowledge to say anything about it.

Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof?

But it is not for you to tell its time.[1]

In which capacity are you to tell this?

saying, ‘When will it arrive?’, but how can you tell [them that]?

What art thou about, to mention it?

Whereby canst thou mention it?

"What, " ask they, "have you to say about it?"

Wherein are you (concerned) with the Reminding of it?

By what means canst thou give any information of the same?

How are you (even included) in the announcement of its time?

Why (do they ask this question)? It is you who are its reminder (you being one of its signs).

considering your frequent mention of it?"
