7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 119

They were thus defeated there and then, and they turned in disgrace.

Thus were they defeated right there and humiliated.

Thereupon were they defeated; and they turned about, brought low.

There, before the multitudes and right before Pharaoh's eyes a damned defeat was made; those who had the expertise were reduced to impotence and were humiliated by defeat.

Defeated and humbled, those experts in magic [recognized the truth and]. ..

So they were defeated there and returned disgraced.

So the (great ones) were vanquished there and then, and were made to look small.

So Pharaoh and his people were defeated right there and put to shame.

So, they were overcome then and there and turned humiliated.

So they were vanquished there, and they turned about, humbled.

and they were conquered there, and turned back feeling small!

Thus were they vanquished there, and turned back humiliated!

So they were overcome over there, and they turned over belittled.

Thus were they vanquished there and they retired humiliated.

So the (great ones) were put to shame there and then, and were made to look small.

Thus they (-Pharaoh and his people) were vanquished then and there, and they went back humiliated.

Thereat they were vanquished, and they retreated, humiliated.
