7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 118

Thus the truth was set, and what they did was made of no effect.

The Truth prevailed and their arguments were manifestly proven false.

And the truth was established, and what they did made vain.

Thus the truth was set, and what they did was made of no effect.

Thus the truth was confirmed, and what they were doing was falsified.

So the Truth took place and what they did was shown to be false.

Thus, the truth prevailed, and what they did was nullified.

Thus the truth was upheld, and the falsehood that they practised was exposed.

So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing.

whereupon the truth was established, and vain was proved all that they had been doing.

Thus was the Truth vindicated and that which they were doing was made vain.

And there, did heaven, earth and men evidence the truth which was justified by facts and results, just as they evidenced falsehood which was condemned by the annulment of all their various objects of fiction and delight.

Thus their tricks were revealed and the truth prevailed.

Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect.

Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect.

So the truth prevailed and their illusions failed.

Thus the truth prevailed, and what they were doing became a nullity.

The truth was confirmed and what they had produced came to nothing:

So the truth came to pass, and false was proved what they were doing.

and the truth stood fast, and vain was that which they had done;

So the Truth came to pass, (Literally: fell "on them") and void (Literally: became untrue) was whatever they were doing.

So was the truth established and whatever they did, proved vain.

Like this the truth was proved. And all that they did, had no effect.

So was the truth established and all their efforts (to frustrate it) proved vain.

So the truth came out, and what they had wrought was reduced to naught.
