40. Surah Ghafir, Verse 52

A Day when excuses will be of no help to the transgressors, and they will be cursed, and they will have the worst abode.

The Day their excuses will not avail the oppressors, and theirs will be a removal from Divine Grace, and for them is but the home of misery.

The day their excuses avail not the wrongdoers; and they will have the curse, and they will have the evil abode.

A Day when excuses will be of no help to the transgressors, and they will be cursed, and they will have the worst abode.

A day when excuses will be of no help to the transgressors, and they will be cursed, and they will have the worst abode.

the Day when the excuses of the wrongdoers will not help them. The curse will be on them and they will have the most evil Home.

On that day, the apologies of the disbelievers will not benefit them. They have incurred condemnation; they have incurred the worst destiny.

The day upon which their excuses will not benefit the evil-doers, and the condemnation and evil abode will be theirs.

The Day their excuse will not benefit the wrongdoers, and they will have the curse, and they will have the worst home.

the Day when their excuses will be of no avail to the evildoers, seeing that their lot will be rejection from all that is good, and a woeful hereafter.

The day when their excuse availeth not the evil-doers, and theirs is the curse, and theirs the ill abode.

The day when of no avail shall be an excuse or a plea in justification of deeds of iniquity advanced by the wrongful of actions. They have come within the measure of Allah's curse, and the worst of it is their destined abode and their heritage in hell.

On the Day of Judgment the apologies of the wrongdoers will not be accepted as they have already earned the curse of God and have earned the worst place to live in.

The Day when their excuses will be of no profit to Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh). Theirs will be the curse, and theirs will be the evil abode (i.e. painful torment in Hell-fire).

The Day when no profit will it be to Wrong-doers to present their excuses, but they will (only) have the Curse and the Home of Misery.

the Day the wrongdoers’ excuses will be of no benefit to them. They will be condemned, and will have the worst outcome.[1] 

a day when apology of the unjust will bring them no benefit, and on them shall be the curse, and for them will be the evil abode.

On the Day when excuses will not profit the evildoers, their fate will be rejection and they will have the worst of homes.

upon the day when their excuses shall not profit the evildoers, and theirs shall be the curse, and theirs the evil abode.

the day when their excuse shall not avail the unjust; but for them is the curse, and for them is an evil abode.

The day on which their excuse shall not benefit the unjust, and for them is a curse and for them is the abode of misery.

The Day when their ready excuse (s) will not profit the unjust, and theirs will be the curse, and theirs the odious Residence.

A day, whereon the excuse of the unbelievers shall not avail them; but a curse shall attend them, and a wretched abode.

The Day when it will be of no use for the wrongdoers to bring up their excuses, but they will (only) have the Curse, and the Home of Misery.

The day when their apologies will not avail the wrongdoers and they shall have the disapproval of Allâh, and the evil abode will be their lot.

—the day when the excuses of the wrongdoers will not benefit them, and the curse will lie on them, and for them will be the ills of the [ultimate] abode.
