26. Surah Ash-Shu'ara, Verse 224

And the poets, are followed by the strayers.

As for poets, the strayers follow them. (Poets claim that they speak out of intuition or inspiration. Their followers succumb to emotional deceit).

And the poets: those who err follow them.

And the poets, are followed by the strayers.

The poets, are followed by the strayers.

And as for poets, it is the misled who follow them.

As for the poets, they are followed only by the strayers.

As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them.

And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them;

And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them.

As for poets, the erring follow them.

And the poets are followed as the exemplar or the model by those whose ruling passion conquers reason and they refer their course of action and way of life to the region of poetry or emotions and waste their days in vanity.

As for the poets (and the artists who visit our houses constantly with their enchanting works, ) they enchant only those who reject God pleasing moral standards.

As for the poets, the erring ones follow them,

And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them:

As for poets, they are followed ˹merely˺ by deviants.

As for the poets, they are followed by the straying people.

only those who are lost in error follow the poets.

And the poets -- the perverse follow them;

And the poets do those follow who go astray!

And impart what they have heard; but most of them are liars.

And the poets, the misguided closely follow them;

And those who err follow the steps of the poets:

As for the poets— Those astray (in evil) who follow them:

And (as for) the poets, it is the erring ones who follow them.

As for the poets, [only] the perverse follow them.
