21. Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 70

And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the losers.

And whereas they schemed against him, We made them the true losers. (They failed to value a man of his stature).

And they desired a plan for him, but We made them the greatest losers,

Andthey wanted to plan against him, but We made them the losers.

They wanted to harm him, but We made them the losers.

They desired to trap him but We made them the losers.

Thus, they schemed against him, but we made them the losers.

They wished to entrap him, but We made them greater losers.

And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers.

and whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We caused them to suffer the greatest loss:

And they wished to set a snare for him, but We made them the greater losers.

So conditioned, they thought of contriving against him, but We made them the losers who lost the most.

They wanted to harm hi, but I made them to look like fools.

And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.

Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most!

They had sought to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.

And they intended to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.

They planned to harm him, but We made them suffer the greatest loss.

They desired to outwit him; so We made them the worse losers,

They desired to plot against him, but we made them the losers.

We said, "O fire! Be you cool and a safety for Abraham!"

And they would (devise) a plot against him; yet We made them the greatest losers.

And they sought to lay a plot against him: But We caused them to be the sufferers.

And then they tried a scheme against him: But We made them the ones who lost most!

They intended a mistreatment of him, but We made them the worst losers (and they could not carry out their evil design of burning him).

They sought to outmaneuver him, but We made them the biggest losers.
