2. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 52

ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

Thumma AAafawna AAankum min baAAdi thalikalaAAallakum tashkuroon

Then We pardoned you after that so that perhaps you would show thanks.
