86. Surah At-Tariq, Verse 11

And the sky which gives rain.

Witness is the high atmosphere that keeps returning (its water, gases and other composition).

By the sky full of returning!

Andthe sky which gives rain.

The sky which gives rain.

By Heaven with its cyclical systems

By the sky that returns

So I call to witness the rain-producing sky,

By the sky which returns [rain]

Consider the heavens, ever-revolving,

By the heaven which giveth the returning rain,

By the heaven and what it returns of condensed water vapour as rain and what it reflects of the various kinds of waves,

I (God) swear by the same sky…

By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again.

By the Firmament which returns (in its round),

By the sky with its recurring cycles,

I swear by the sky that rains,

By the sky and its recurring rain,

By heaven of the returning rain,

By the heaven that sends back the rain!

By the Firmament which returns in its rounds,

By the heaven comprising the returning (rain) (Or: the rotating rain),

By the heaven which returneth the rain;

By the sky that returns (with rains again and again),

I call to witness the clouds that rain over and over again,

By the resurgent sky,
