77. Surah Al-Mursalat, Verse 31

Neither does it shade, nor does it avail from the flames.

Giving neither cooling shade nor shelter from the Flame.

“Neither shading, nor availing against the flame!”

Neither does it shade, nor does it avail from the flames.

Neither does it give shade, nor does it avail from the flames.

but gives no shade or protection from the flames,

Yet, it provides neither coolness, nor protection from the heat.

Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire.

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame. "

that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame

(Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame.

Which neither screen, nor hide nor protect from the heat or from the blazing flames streaming in avalanches,

The clouds which do not provide any coolness nor protect you from the heat.

Neither shady, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire."

"(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze.

providing neither coolness nor shelter from the flames.

that neither has a comfortable shade, nor is it of any use against the scorching heat.

no shade does it give, nor relief from the flame;

unshading against the blazing flame

that shall not shade nor avail against the flame!

Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame.

With no plenteous shade and of no avail against the flames;

and shall not shade you from the heat, neither shall it be of service against the flame;

"(Which gives) no shade with coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Fire.

`(Which is) neither affording shade (to you) nor protects (you) from the flame. '

which is neither shady nor is of any avail against the flame.
