7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 177

Miserable is the example of the people who denied Our revelations, and it was their souls that they had wronged.

Indeed, pitiable is the example of those who reject Our Verses, since they hurt their own "Self".

Evil as an example are the people who deny Our proofs, and they wrong their souls.

Miserable is the example of the people who denied Our revelations, and it was their souls that they had wronged.

Miserable is the example of the people who denied Our signs, and it was themselves that they had wronged.

How evil is the metaphor of those who deny Our Signs. It is themselves that they have badly wronged.

Bad indeed is the example of people who reject our proofs; it is only their own souls that they wrong.

Evil is the case of those who deny Our signs and wrong themselves.

How evil an example [is that of] the people who denied Our signs and used to wrong themselves.

Evil is the example of people who are bent on giving the lie to Our messages: for it is against their own selves that they are sinning!

How sad is the story of those who chose to disregard My revelations and, consequently, do injustice to their own souls.

An evil likeness is the likeness of the people who cried lies to Our signs, and themselves were wronging.

Evil is the likeness of a people who deny Our revelations (or Signs) and wrong their own souls.

An odious likeness (is the likeness) of the people who have cried lies to Our signs, and to themselves they were doing injustice. .

Evil is the case of the people who treat Our Signs as lies. And it was their ownselves that they wronged.

Evil is the example of people who reject Our Signs and (they) used to wrong themselves.

Sad is the case of the people who cry lies to Our commandments and it is their own selves that they have wronged.

Evil is the parable of the people who deny Our signs and wrong themselves.
