6. Surah Al-An'am, Verse 5

They have denied the truth when it came to them. The news will ultimately come to them of what they were mocking.

And so they are denying this Truth as it has come to them. However, soon they will come to understand what they used to ridicule.

So have they denied the truth when it came to them; and there will come to them a report of that whereat they mocked.

They deny the truth each time it comes to them but news of what they were mocking will certainly reach them.

Since they rejected the truth when it came to them, they have incurred the consequences of their heedlessness.

So they disbelieved the truth when it came to them; but they will soon come to know the reality of what they had ridiculed.

For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.

and so they give the lie to this truth now that it has come unto them. In time, however, they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride.

And they denied the truth when it came unto them. But there will come unto them the tidings of that which they used to deride.

They rejected the truth and counselled deaf to the Quran when it was presented to them to guide them into all truth. But soon shall they realize the truth of all that has been discoursed in this Quran which they hold up to ridicule.

Since they have rejected the truth, which is hereby presented to them, pretty soon they have to face the consequence of what they were mucking at.

Indeed, they rejected the truth (the Qur’ân and Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)[1] when it came to them, but there will come to them the news of that (the torment) which they used to mock at.

And now they reject the truth when it reaches them: but soon shall they learn the reality of what they used to mock at.

They have indeed rejected the truth when it came to them, so they will soon face the consequences of their ridicule.

So they rejected the truth when it came to them.Now there shall come to them a full account of what they used to ridicule.

So they denied the truth when it came to them, but the very thing they laughed at will be brought home to them.

They cried lies to the truth when it came to them, but there shall come to them news of that they were mocking.

and they have called the truth a lie now that it has come to them, but there shall come to them the message of that at which they mocked.

And now they reject the truth that has come to them, but soon shall come to them a message (They shall learn the truth) about that at which they mocked.

So they already cried lies to the Truth as soon as it came to them. Then the tidings of whatever they used to mock will eventually come up to them.

So they rejected the truth when it came to them; but soon shall come to them the tidings of that at which they mocked.

Indeed, they reject the truth when it reaches them: But soon shall they learn the reality of what they used to make fun about.

So they have already cried lies to this perfect truth when it came to them, but soon there shall come to them the news of ( the fulfillment of the prophecies) that they have been taking very lightly.

They certainly denied the truth when it came to them, but soon there will come to them the news of what they have been deriding.
