5. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 30

So he found it in himself to kill his brother; so he killed him. He thus became one of the losers.

His ego led him into killing his brother. He killed him and became a loser.

And his soul allowed him the killing of his brother; and he killed him, and became of the losers.

So he found it in himself to kill his brother; so he killed him. He thus became one of the losers.

So he found it in himself to kill his brother, and he killed him. He thus became one of the losers.

So his lower self persuaded him to kill his brother, and he killed him and became one of the lost.

His ego provoked him into killing his brother. He killed him, and ended up with the losers.

Then the other was induced by his passion to murder his brother, and he killed him, and became one of the damned.

And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers.

But the other's passion drove him to slaying his brother; and he slew him: and thus he became one of the lost.

But (the other's) mind imposed on him the killing of his brother, so he slew him and became one of the losers.

He succumbed to his evil thought of slaying his brother and he killed him, only to incur the loss of the noble qualities of the soul and be one of those born to be losers.

[Even after this warning, ] He followed his vain desire and killed his brother and became a looser.

So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair-seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.

The (selfish) soul of the other led him to the murder of his brother: he murdered him, and became (himself) one of the lost ones.

Still, the other convinced himself to kill his own brother, so he killed him—becoming a loser.

His self, however, prompted him to kill his brother, so he killed him and became one of the losers.

But his soul prompted him to kill his brother: he killed him and became one of the losers.

Then his soul prompted him to slay his brother, and he slew him, and became one of the losers.

But his soul allowed him to slay his brother, and he slew him, and in the morning he was of those who lose.

But the other's soul compelled him to slay his brother, and so he slew him, and became one of the losers.

Then his self persuaded him to the killing of his brother, so he killed him, then he became among the losers.

But his soul suffered him to slay his brother, and he slew him; wherefore he became of the number of those who perish.

The (selfish) soul of the other (brother) led him to the murder of his brother: (For) he murdered him, and became (himself) one of the lost ones.

But (the baser instincts of) his mind prompted him (whose offering was not accepted) to kill his brother (whose offering was accepted), so he killed him, wherefore he became one of the losers.

So his soul prompted him to kill his brother, and he killed him, and thus became one of the losers.
