46. Surah Al-Ahqaf, Verse 24
فَلَمَّا رَاَوْهُ عَارِضاً مُسْتَقْبِلَ اَوْدِيَتِهِمْۙ قَالُوا هٰذَا عَارِضٌ مُمْطِرُنَاۜ بَلْ هُوَ مَا اسْتَعْجَلْتُمْ بِه۪ۜ ر۪يحٌ ف۪يهَا عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌۙ
Falamma raawhu AAaridanmustaqbila awdiyatihim qaloo hatha AAaridunmumtiruna bal huwa ma istaAAjaltum bihi reehunfeeha AAathabun aleem
When they saw it as a storm cloud advancing on their valleys they said, ‘This is a storm cloud which will give us rain. ’ No, rather it is what you desired to hasten – a wind containing painful punishment,
