40. Surah Ghafir, Verse 29

"O my people, you have the kingship today throughout the land. But then who will save us against God's torment, should it come to us" Pharaoh said: "I am showing you that which I see, and I am guiding you in the right path."

O My people! Yours is the kingdom today, and most eminent are you in the earth. But who will help us against Allah's strike, once it hits us?" Pharaoh said, "I want you to see what I see. And I would never show you but the right way."

“O my people: yours is the dominion this day, you being dominant in the land, but who will help us against the wrath of God if it comes to us?” Pharaoh said: “I only show you what I see, and I only guide you to the path of rectitude.”

"O my people, you have the kingship today throughout the land. But then who will save us against the torment of God, should it come to us?" Pharaoh said: "I am showing you that which I see, and I am guiding you in the right path."

"O my people, you have the kingship today throughout the land. But then who will save us against God's torment, should it come to us?" Pharaoh said, "I am only showing you what I see, and I am only guiding you to the right path."

My people! the kingdom is yours today, as masters in the land, but who will help us against Allah’s violent force, if it comes upon us?’ Pharoah said, ‘I only show you what I see myself and I only guide you to the path of rectitude. ’

"O my people, today you have kingship and the upperhand. But who will help us against GOD's judgment, should it come to us?" Pharaoh said, "You are to follow only what I see fit; I will guide you only in the right path."

O my people, authority is yours today being the most powerful in the land; but who will save us from the scourge of God if it fall upon us?" "I show you," said the Pharaoh, "only what I see (is right), and guide you but to the right path. "

O my people, sovereignty is yours today, [your being] dominant in the land. But who would protect us from the punishment of Allah if it came to us?" Pharaoh said, "I do not show you except what I see, and I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct."

"O my people! Yours is the dominion today, [and] most eminent are you on earth: but who will rescue us from God’s punishment, once it befalls us?" Said Pharaoh: “I but want to make you see what I see myself; and I would never make you follow any path but that of rectitude!”

O my people! Yours is the kingdom to-day, ye being uppermost in the land. But who would save us from the wrath of Allah should it reach us? Pharaoh said: I do but show you what I think, and I do but guide you to wise policy.

"O my people" he added " today you have the sovereignty the dominion and the authority and you have acquired supremacy and pre-eminence and you are the mighty ones yet, but who would save us from Allah if we come within the measure of His wrath? "Pharaoh said: '' I only expose you to harmonious influences and what seems to me appropriate and befitting,nor do I guide you but to the path of righteousness "

[The man then continued:] "O my people, today you possess the power and have the upper hand. Why do you challenge God to send his punishment upon us? Who is going to help us, if that happens? Pharaoh responded: “Don’t worry; I know right and wrong and I will guide you to the right path!"

"O my people! Yours is the kingdom today, you being dominant in the land. But who will save us from the Torment of Allâh, should it befall us?" Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "I show you only that which I see (correct), and I guide you only to the path of right policy!"

"O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?" Pharaoh said: "I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!"

O  my people! Authority belongs to you today, reigning supreme in the land. But who would help us against the torment of Allah, if it were to befall us?" Pharaoh assured ˹his people˺, "I am telling you only what I believe, and I am leading you only to the way of guidance.”

O my people, the kingdom is yours today, while you are dominant on the land. But, who is going to help us against Allah’s punishment, if it comes upon us?" Pharaoh said, "I do not give you an opinion unless I myself believe it to be correct, and I do not direct you to anything but to the right way.”

My people, as masters in the land you have the power today, but who will help us against God’s might if it comes upon us?’ But Pharaoh said, ‘I have told you what I think; I am guiding you along the right path.’

O my people, today the kingdom is yours, who are masters in the land. But who will help us, against the might of God, if it comes upon us?' Said Pharaoh, 'I only let you see what I see; I only guide you in the way of rectitude.'

O my people! yours is the kingdom today, ye are eminent in the land, but who will help us against the violence of God, if it comes upon us?' Said Pharaoh, 'I will only show you what I see, and I will only guide you into the way of right direction. '

"'O my people! Yours is the kingdom this day, being masters in the land, but who will help us against the wrath of Allah if it come to us? ' Pharaoh said, "I do not show you aught but that which I see myself, and I do not make you follow any but the right way.

O my people, today the kingdom is yours, you being topmost in the land; yet who will vindicate us against the violence of Allah in case it comes upon us?" Fircwan (Pharaoh) said, "In no way would I let you see except what I see, and in no way do I guide you except in the way of right-mindedness. "

O my people, the kingdom is yours this day; and ye are conspicuous in the earth: But who shall defend us from the scourge of God, if it come unto us? Pharaoh said, I only propose to you what I think to be most expedient: And I guide you only into the right path.

"O my people! The power this day is yours: You have the upper hand in the land: But who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it come upon us?" Firon (Pharaoh) said: "I point out to you only what I see (myself); Nor do I guide you to (any path) but to the path of right!"

`O my people! yours is the sovereignty today and you dominate over the country. But who will help us and save us from the punishment of Allâh if it visits us?' Pharaoh said, `I only point out to you that which I see and understand myself, and I guide you only to the path of rectitude.'

O my people! Today sovereignty belongs to you, and you are dominant in the land. But who will save us from Allah’s punishment should it overtake us?’ Pharaoh said, ‘I just point out to you what I see [to be advisable for you], and I guide you only to the way of rectitude.’
