4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 18
وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذ۪ينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا حَضَرَ اَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ اِنّ۪ي تُبْتُ الْـٰٔنَ وَلَا الَّذ۪ينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ اَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَاباً اَل۪يماً
Walaysati attawbatu lillatheenayaAAmaloona assayyi-ati hatta ithahadara ahadahumu almawtu qala inneetubtu al-ana wala allatheena yamootoonawahum kuffarun ola-ika aAAtadna lahum AAathabanaleema
There is no tawba for people who persist in doing evil until death comes to them and who then say, ‘Now I make tawba,’ nor for people who die kafir. We have prepared for them a painful punishment.
