34. Surah Saba, Verse 53

And they had rejected it in the past; and they conjectured about the unseen from a place far off.

They adamantly rejected the Truth before and they kept shooting the arrows of conjecture from faraway.

When they denied it before, and attacked the Unseen from a place far away?

And they had rejected it in the past; and they made allegations regarding the unseen, from a place far off.

They had rejected it in the past; and they conjectured about the unseen from a place far off.

when beforehand they had rejected it, shooting forth about the Unseen from a distant place?

They have rejected it in the past; they have decided instead to uphold conjecture and guesswork.

They had surely denied it before and aimed without seeing from so far away.

And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away.

seeing that aforetime they had been bent on denying the truth, and had been wont to cast scorn, from far away, on something that was beyond the reach of human perception?

When they disbelieved in it of yore. They aim at the unseen from afar off.

They denied it before and they assailed what is unknown or unseen and what is essentially spiritual with slander while they were far distant in the world of life below!

They chose to reject our revelation without any objective consideration [and mocked at My Prophets for no good reason. ]

Indeed they did disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allâh, Islâm, the Qur’ân and Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) before (in this world), and they (used to) conjecture about the Unseen [i.e. the Hereafter, Hell, Paradise, Resurrection and the Promise of Allâh (by saying) all that is untrue], from a far place.

Seeing that they did reject Faith (entirely) before, and that they (continually) cast (slanders) on the unseen from a position far off?

while they had already rejected it before, guessing blindly from a place ˹equally˺ far-away ˹from the Hereafter˺?

while they had rejected it before, and used to make conjectures from a remote place?

they denied it all in the past, and threw conjecture from a faroff place-

seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away?

They misbelieved before, and conjectured about the unseen from a distant place.

And they shall say, "We believe in it (now). " But how can they reach faith from a position so far away from it?

And they already disbelieved in it earlier, and they hurl (their guesses) at the Unseen from a place far (away).

Since they had before denied him, and reviled the mysteries of faith, from a distant place?

Knowing that they rejected Faith before, and that they told lies about the Unseen from a place far off?

While they had indeed disbelieved in it before this, and they were shooting at the unknown (and making far fetched and useless conjectures about the failure of the Prophet and their own triumph) from a place far off.

when they have already disbelieved it earlier? They shoot at the invisible from a far-off place!
