31. Surah Luqman, Verse 7
وَاِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِ اٰيَاتُنَا وَلّٰى مُسْتَكْبِراً كَاَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَاَنَّ ف۪ٓي اُذُنَيْهِ وَقْراًۚ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ اَل۪يمٍ
Wa-itha tutla AAalayhi ayatunawalla mustakbiran kaan lam yasmaAAha kaanna fee othunayhiwaqran fabashshirhu biAAathabin aleem
When Our Signs are recited to such a person, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard, as if there was a great weight in his ears. So give him news of a painful punishment.
