29. Surah Al-'Ankabut, Verse 32

He said: "But Lot is in it!" They said: "We are fully aware of who is in it. We will save him and his family, except his wife; she is of those doomed."

Abraham said, "But Lot is also there. " They said, "We know fully well who dwell there. We will certainly save him, his household and his followers - all but his wife - she will be of those that stay behind (since she has stayed behind in belief)." ('Ahl' of a Prophet includes his household and his followers. (7:80-84), (11:70-89), (15:59), (21:71-76), (26:161-167), (27:54-56), (66:10))

He said: “Therein is Lot!” They said: “We best know who is therein. We will deliver him and his household save his wife; she is of those who stay behind.”

He said: "But Lot is in it!" They said: "We are fully aware of who is in it. We will save him and his family, except his wife; she is of those doomed."

He said, "But Lot is in it!" They said, "We are fully aware of who is in it. We will save him and his family, except his wife; she is of those doomed."

He said, ‘Lut is in it. ’ They said, ‘We know very well who is in it. We are going to rescue him and his family – except for his wife. She will be one of those who stay behind.’

He said, "But Lot is living there." They said, "We are fully aware of everyone who lives in it. We will of course save him and his family, except his wife; she is doomed."

He said: "Surely Lot is there. " They answered: "We know who is there. We are to save him and his family except his wife, for she is one of those who will stay behind."

[Abraham] said, "Indeed, within it is Lot. " They said, "We are more knowing of who is within it. We will surely save him and his family, except his wife. She is to be of those who remain behind."

[And when Abraham] exclaimed, "But Lot lives there!" - they answered: We know fully well who is there; most certainly we shall save him and his household - all but his wife: she will indeed be among those that stay behind. ”

He said: Lo! Lot is there. They said: We are best aware of who is there. We are to deliver him and his household, all save his wife, who is of those who stay behind.

He -Ibrahim- said: "But among its inhabitants dwells Lut. " They said: "we know exactly who lives there and we will deliver him and his family to safety excepting his wife who has been destined to remain behind -to meet with the same fate of the wicked-"

Abraham said: "But Lot is living there!" They said: “We definitely know who lives there; we will save him and his household except his wife who has chosen to join the disbelievers. ”

Ibrâhîm (Abraham) said: "But there is Lût (Lot) in it." They said: "We know better who is there. We will verily save him [Lût (Lot)] and his family except his wife: she will be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed along with those who will be destroyed from her folk)."

He said: "But there is Lut there." They said: "Well do we know who is there: we will certainly save him and his following,- except his wife: she is of those who lag behind!"

He said, "But Lot is there!" They responded, “We know best who is there. We will certainly save him and his family—except his wife, who is one of the doomed.”

He said, "There is LūT in it." They said, “We know well who is in it. We will certainly save him and his family except his wife who will be among those remaining behind.”

Abraham said, ‘But Lot lives there.’ They answered, ‘We know who lives there better than you do. We shall save him and his household, except for his wife: she will be one of those who stay behind.’

He said, 'Lot is in it. ' They said, 'We know very well who is in it; assuredly We shall deliver him and his family, except his wife; she has become of those that tarry.'

Said he, 'Verily, in it is Lot;' they said, 'We know best who is therein; we shall of a surety save him and his people, except his wife, who is of those who linger. '

And when Our messengers came to Abraham with the glad tidings, they said, "We are about to destroy the people of these cities. Verily, the people thereof are evil-doers."

He said, "Surely L?t is in it. " They said, " we know best who is in it; indeed we will definitely deliver him safe and his family, except his wife; she has (become) of the laggards."

Abraham answered, verily Lot dwelleth there. They replied, we well know who dwelleth therein: we will surely deliver him and his family, except his wife; she shall be one of those who remain behind.

He (Ibrahim) said: "But, Lut (Lot) is also in there. " They said: "We know well who is there: We will surely, save him and his family— Except his wife, she is from those who fall behind!"

(Abraham) said, `But Lot is (living) there (in that township). ' They said, `We know very well who are (living) in it. We will surely save him and his family except his wife, who is among those who stay behind.'

He said, ‘Lot is indeed in it. ’ They said, ‘We know better those who are in it. We will surely deliver him and his family, except his wife: she shall be one of those who remain behind.’
