26. Surah Ash-Shu'ara, Verse 84

"And give me a tongue that is true for those who will follow. "

And grant me the ability to convey the Truth even to those who will come after me.

“And appoint Thou for me a tongue of truth among those who come later.

"And give me a tongue that is true for those who will follow."

"Give me a tongue that is true for those who will follow."

and make me highly esteemed among the later peoples;

"Let the example I set for the future generations be a good one.

And uphold my name with posterity,

And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations.

and grant me the power to convey the truth unto those who will come after me,

And give unto me a good report in later generations.

"And furnish me O Allah, my Creator, with a civil tongue uttering the truth that guides into all truth and is believed among posterity".

"Make me a role model for the future generations. "

And grant me an honourable mention in later generations.

"Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations);

Bless me with honourable mention among later generations.[1]

and destine for me a truthful description among the next generations,

give me a good name among later generations;

and appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the others.

and give me a tongue of good report amongst posterity;

"My Lord, grant me wisdom (or judgment), and let me join the righteous;

And make for me a tongue of sincerity (Truthfulness) in the later (generations).

And grant that I may be spoken of with honour among the latest posterity;

"And give me honorable saying on the tongue of truth of the later (generations) to come;

`And ordain for me a noble, true and lasting reputation among posterity;

Confer on me a worthy repute among the posterity,
