25. Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 67

And those who when they give they are not excessive nor stingy, but they are in a measure between that.

- And those who when they spend their wealth, are neither wasteful, nor stingy. (2:219). And (they know that) there is always middle ground between the two extremes.

And who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly; — and there is a place in-between —

Andthose who when they give they are not excessive nor stingy, but they are in a measure between that.

Those who when they give they are not excessive nor stingy, but they are in a measure between that.

those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor mean, but take a stance mid way between the two;

When they give, they are neither extravagant nor stingy; they give in moderation.

Who are neither prodigal nor miserly in their spending but follow a middle path;

And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate

and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes];

And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two;

d) The worshippers who are neither extravagant nor niggardly; when they spend they do not play the prodigal nor do they act parsimoniously, but they use a mean.

They are the ones who are neither extravagant in spending nor stingy. They are capable of balancing it out.

And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes).

Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes);

˹They are˺ those who spend neither wastefully nor stingily, but moderately in between.

- and those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly, and it (i.e. their spending) is moderate in between (the two extremes,)

They are those who are neither wasteful nor niggardly when they spend, but keep to a just balance;

who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand;

And those who when they spend are neither extravagant nor miserly, but who ever take their stand between the two;

"Verily, indeed an evil abode and state. "

And the ones who, when they expend, are neither extravagant nor grudging; and between that is an upright (mean).

And who, when they bestow, are neither profuse, nor niggardly; but observe a just medium between these;

And those who, when they spend are not wasteful and not miserly, but hold a fair (balance) between those (limits);

And (the true servants of God are those) who, when spending, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, (but their spendings follow) a middle course, ever moderate;

Those who, when spending, are neither wasteful nor tightfisted, and moderation lies between these [extremes].
