23. Surah Al-Mu'minun, Verse 77

Until We open for them a door of immense retribution, then they become in sorrow and despair.

Until when We open for them the gate of severe retribution, behold, they will be then completely demoralized.

When We have opened against them a gate of severe punishment, then are they therein in despair.)

Until We open for them a door of immense retribution, then they become in sorrow and despair.

until We open to them a gate to a harsh punishment in which they will at once be crushed by despair.

Subsequently, when we requited them with the severe retribution they had incurred, they were shocked.

So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair.

Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair.

until We open before them a gate of [truly] severe suffering [in the life to come]: and then, lo! they will be broken in spirit.

Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat.

They persisted in wrong -doing until We closed the gate of mercy in their faces and opened the gate of torture and put them to torment (that they may be brought back to their senses) But to the contrary. they only nursed despair which led to recklessness and to heedlessness arising from despair.

But when I sentence them to a sever punishment, they will implore in desperation.

Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair.

Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein!

But as soon as We open for them a gate of severe punishment, they will be utterly desperate.

until when We will open against them the door of a severe punishment, they will be taken aback in despair.

until We open a gate to severe torment for them- then they will be plunged into utter despair.

until, when We open against them a door of terrible chastisement, lo, they are sore confounded at it.

until we opened for them a door with grievous torment, then lo! they are in despair.

And We caught them with the punishment, but they humble not themselves before their Lord, nor do they pray,

Until, when We open upon them a gate of (Literally: owning, comprising) strict torment, only then are they dumbfounded at it.

until, when We have opened upon them a door, from which a severe punishment hath issued, behold, they are driven to despair thereat.

Till We open on them a gate of a harsh Punishment: Then listen! They will be drowned in pain (and sorrow) in there!

Behold! no sooner did We let loose on them a severe punishment than they are utterly despaired (of God's mercy) thereat.

When We opened on them the door of a severe punishment, behold, they are despondent in it.
