21. Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 35

Every soul will taste death. And We burden you with evil and good as a test, and it is to Us that you will return.

Every living being is bound to taste death. We test you through the evil and good aspects of things by way of trial. To Us must you return. (Life and death afford humans the opportunity to do good deeds and achieve eternal rewards (67:2))

Every soul will taste death; and We will try you with evil and good as a means of denial; and to Us will you be returned.

Every Soul -no exception- shall taste death and We test you -people- by wedding you to calamities and by making Our grace abound in you to determine your true belief and inclination, your spiritual and moral attributes, your accomplishments, attainments and your way and course of acting, then in the end shall all of you be brought back to Us.

Every soul will taste the death. I will try you in good times and in bad times, and to Me is the return of all of you.
