19. Surah Maryam, Verse 17

She took to a barrier which separated her from them, so We sent Our spirit to her, and he took on the shape of a human in all similarity.

(Since she was not used to mixing with people), she had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent to her Our angel who appeared to her in the shape of a well-made human being (although he had no physical or material existence).

So she separated herself from them; then We sent to her Our Spirit, and he appeared to her as a mortal without fault.

So she took a barrier to separate her from them, so We sent Our Spirit to her, and he took on the shape of a human being in all similarity.

She took to a barrier which separated her from them, so We sent Our Spirit to her, and he took on the shape of a human in all similarity.

and veiled herself from them. Then We sent Our Ruh to her and it took on for her the form of a handsome, well-built man.

While a barrier separated her from them, we sent to her our Spirit. He went to her in the form of a human being.

And took cover from them, We sent a spirit of Ours to her who appeared before her in the concrete form of a man.

And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.

and kept herself in seclusion from them, whereupon We sent unto her Our angel of revelation, who appeared to her in the shape of a well-made human being.

And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our Spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man.

She veiled herself from them, since solitude best serves deep devotion. There We sent to her Our Spirit who disguised his identity and appeared as a human all sound.

She covered herself up and I sent to her My Spirit (Angel Gabriel. ) The Holly Spirit appeared before her in the form of a perfect man.

She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrîl (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.

screening herself off from them. Then We sent to her Our angel, ˹Gabriel,˺ appearing before her as a man, perfectly formed.

then she used a barrier to hide herself from them. Then, We sent to her Our Spirit, (Jibra’īl) and he took before her the form of a perfect human being.

and secluded herself away; We sent Our Spirit to appear before her in the form of a perfected man.

and she took a veil apart from them; then We sent unto her Our Spirit that presented himself to her a man without fault.

and she took a veil (to screen herself) from them; and we sent unto her our spirit; and he took for her the semblance of a well-made man.

And mention Mary in the Book; when she retired from her family into an eastern chamber.

So she took to herself a curtain apart from them; then We sent to her Our Spirit; (i. e., the Angle Jibrîl "Gabriel) so he took for himself the likeness of a mortal in perfect shape (Or: mold).

and took a veil to conceal herself from them; and We sent our spirit Gabriel unto her, and he appeared unto her in the shape of a perfect man.

She placed a screen (to hide herself) from them; Then We sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before her in the form of a man of respect in every way.

Then she screened herself off from them. Then We sent to her Our (angel of) revelation and he presented himself to her in the form of a perfect and well-proportioned man.

Thus did she seclude herself from them, whereupon We sent to her Our Spirit and he became incarnate for her as a well-proportioned human.
