15. Surah Al-Hijr, Verse 33

He said: "I am not to submit to a human You have created from a hardened clay. "

He replied, "I am not one to bow to man whom You have created from sounding clay out of inorganic matter. "

Said he: “I am not one to submit to a mortal whom Thou hast created from sounding clay, from dark slime transmuted.”

He said: "I am not to yield to a human being whom You have created from a sludge from hot sediment."

He said, "I am not to prostrate to a human You have created from a hardened clay of aged mud."

He said, ‘I will not prostrate to a human being whom You have created out of dried clay formed from fetid black mud. ’

He said, "I am not to prostrate before a human being, whom You created from aged mud, like the potter's clay."

"How could I bow, " said he, "before a mortal whom You created from fermented clay dried tingling hard?"

He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud. "

[Iblis] replied: "It is not for me to prostrate myself before mortal man whom Thou hast created out of sounding clay, out of dark slime transmuted!"

He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered!

"It is not I", Iblis said, "who would cast himself down in reverence to a human whom You created from dried clay, a product of dark modeling clay that has been polished. "

He said: "I am not going to prostrate before a being whom You have created from rotten earth. "

[Iblîs (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud."

(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."

He replied, "It is not for me to prostrate to a human You created from sounding clay moulded from black mud."

He said, "I am not such that I should prostrate myself before a mortal whom You have created from a ringing clay made of decayed mud."

and he answered, ‘I will not bow to a mortal You created from dried clay, formed from dark mud.’

Said he, 'I would never bow myself before a mortal whom Thou hast created of a clay of mud moulded. '

Said he, 'I would not adore a mortal whom Thou hast created from crackling clay of black mud wrought into form. '

Said he, "Why should I prostrate myself before a mortal whom you have created from potter's (sound emitting) clay of black mud wrought into form. "

Said he, "Indeed I did not have to prostrate myself to a mortal whom You created of dry clay of mud modeled. "

He answered, it is not fit that I should worship man, whom thou hast created of dried clay, of black mud, wrought into shape.

(Satan) said:" I am not one to prostrate myself to man, (a mere human) whom You (Allah) created from sounding clay; From mud cast into shape. "

He replied, `I would never submit to a human being whom You have created from dry ringing clay (formed) from black mud, moulded into shape. '

Said he, ‘I will not prostrate before a human whom You have created out of a dry clay [drawn] from an aging mud. ’
