12. Surah Yusuf, Verse 58

And Joseph's brothers came and entered upon him, and he recognized them, but they did not recognize him.

(And after some years) Joseph's brothers came and presented themselves before him. Joseph recognized them, but they did not. (They came from Canaan to buy grain as places around Egypt started suffering the drought).

And the brothers of Joseph came, and entered upon him; and he knew them, but he was to them unknown.

Andthe brothers of Joseph came and entered upon him, and he recognized them, but they did not recognize him.

Joseph's brothers came and entered upon him, and he recognized them, but they did not recognize him.

The brothers of Yusuf came into his presence and he knew them but they did not know him.

Joseph's brothers came; when they entered, he recognized them, while they did not recognize him.

The brothers of Joseph came (to Egypt) and visited him. He recognised them, though they did not recognise him.

And the brothers of Joseph came [seeking food], and they entered upon him; and he recognized them, but he was to them unknown.

AND [after some years, ] Joseph's brothers came [to Egypt] and presented themselves before him: and he knew them [at once], whereas they did not recognize him.

And Joseph's brethren came and presented themselves before him, and he knew them but they knew him not.

They went to the man in charge of the granaries -Yusuf- who knew them while they failed to recognize him.

Joseph’s brothers (like the other people who were caught by the draught) came to Joseph (asking for food for their tribe. ) He recognized them but they did not.

And Yûsuf’s (Joseph) brethren came and they entered unto him, and he recognized them, but they recognized him not.

Then came Joseph's brethren: they entered his presence, and he knew them, but they knew him not.

And Joseph’s brothers came and entered his presence. He recognized them but they were unaware of who he really was.

And came the brothers of Yūsuf and appeared before him. He recognized them, while they did not recognize him.

Joseph’s brothers came and presented themselves before him. He recognized them- though they did not recognize him-

And the brethren of Joseph came, and entered unto him, and he knew them, but they knew him not.

And his brethren came to Joseph, and they entered in unto him and he knew them, but they recognised not him.

Surely the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believe and fears (ward off evil or are constant in righteousness).

And Yûsuf's brothers came. Then they entered to him, and so he recognized them, and they were denying him. (Or: not knowing him)

Moreover Joseph's brethren came, and went in unto him; and he knew them, but they knew not him.

And Yusuf (Joseph)’s brothers came: They entered his presence, and he knew them but they did not know him.

And (in the years of famine) Joseph's brothers came (from Kin`ân to Egypt) and they presented themselves to him. But though he knew them they recognized him not.

[After some years] the brothers of Joseph came and entered his presence. He recognized them, but they did not recognize him.
