12. Surah Yusuf, Verse 28

So when he saw that his shirt was torn from behind, he said: "This is from your female scheming, your female scheming is indeed great!"

When her husband saw the shirt torn from the back, he said, "This is the typical scheme of you women. Your scheming is formidable." (His discriminatory comment shows his anger, and that women in that society were not viewed well).

And when he saw his shirt torn from behind, he said: “This is a plan of you women; indeed, your guile is great.

So when he saw that his shirt was torn from behind, he said: "This is from your female planning, your female planning is indeed great!"

So when he saw that his shirt was torn from behind, he said, "This is from your female scheming, your female scheming is indeed great!"

He saw the shirt torn at the back and said, ‘The source of this is women’s deviousness. Without a doubt your guile is very great.

When her husband saw that his garment was torn from the back, he said, "This is a woman's scheme. Indeed, your scheming is formidable.

When the husband saw the shirt torn at the back, he said: "Surely this is a woman's ruse, and the wiles of women are great.

So when her husband saw his shirt torn from the back, he said, "Indeed, it is of the women's plan. Indeed, your plan is great.

And when (her husband] saw that his tunic was torn from behind, he said: "Behold, this is [an instance] of your guile, O womankind! Verily, awesome is your guile!

So when he saw his shirt torn from behind, he said: Lo! this is of the guile of you women. Lo! the guile of you is very great.

When her husband saw the garment torn at the back, he said: " This is one of your intrigues, you women; potent indeed is your cunning which you take for a sinister and crooked wisdom"

When the husband saw that the shirt was torn at the back, he said: "What a cunning woman. "

So when he (her husband) saw his [(Yûsuf’s (Joseph)] shirt torn at the back, he (her husband) said: "Surely, it is a plot of you women! Certainly mighty is your plot!

So when he saw his shirt,- that it was torn at the back,- (her husband) said: "Behold! It is a snare of you women! truly, mighty is your snare!

So when her husband saw that Joseph’s shirt was torn from the back, he said ˹to her˺, "This must be ˹an example˺ of the cunning of you ˹women˺! Indeed, your cunning is so shrewd!

So, when he (her husband) saw his shirt ripped from behind, he said, "This is certainly your trickery, O women. Great is the trickery of you women indeed.

When the husband saw that the shirt was torn at the back, he said, ‘This is another instance of women’s treachery: your treachery is truly great.

When he saw his shirt was torn from behind he said, 'This is of your women's guile; surely your guile is great.

And when he saw his shirt rent from behind he said, 'This is one of your tricks; verily, your tricks are mighty!

"But if his shirt be rent from behind, then she lies and he is of the truthful. "

So, as soon as he saw his shirt ripped from the rear, he said, "Surely this is of your (The Arabic adjective is feminine plural) (women's) plotting; surely your (The Arabic adjective is feminine plural) plotting is monstrous.

And when her husband saw that his garment was torn behind, he said, this is a cunning contrivance of your sex; for surely your cunning is great.

So when he (the husband) saw his (Yusuf’s) shirt— That it was torn at the back— (Her husband) said: "Surely! It is a plot of you women! Truly, your plot is strong (and large)!

So when he (- her husband) saw his shirt torn from behind, he (at once understood the truth of the matter and) said (to his wife), `This is surely a (deceiving) device which you women practise. Your (cunning) device is indeed great.'

So when he saw that his shirt was torn from behind, he said, ‘This is [a case] of you women’s guile! Your guile is great indeed!
