10. Surah Yunus, Verse 106

And do not call upon other than God what does not benefit you or harm you; if you do, then you are of the wicked.

Do not ever call on deities besides Allah. They have no control over your harm or benefit. If you expected help outside the Laws of Allah, you will be among the wrongdoers.

“‘And call thou not, besides God, to what neither profits thee nor harms thee; for if thou dost, then art thou of the wrongdoers.’”

And do not call upon other than God what does not benefit you or harm you; if you do, then you are of the wicked.

Do not call on something besides Allah which can neither help nor harm you. If you do, you will then be wrongdoers.’

"You shall not worship beside GOD what possesses no power to benefit you or harm you. If you do, you will be a transgressor."

And not to invoke any other than God, who can neither help nor hurt me; for if I do, I would surely be unjust.

And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you did, then indeed you would be of the wrongdoers. '"

Thus, do not invoke, side by side with God, anything that can neither benefit thee nor harm thee: for, behold, if thou do it, thou wilt surely be among the evildoers!

And cry not, beside Allah, unto that which cannot profit thee nor hurt thee, for if thou didst so then wert thou of the wrong-doers.

"Nor invoke besides Allah what shall not profit you nor harm you, for if you do, you shall then be one of those who are wrongful of actions. "

"Invoke none beside God as they have no power and can neither harm you nor be of any benefit to you. If you do so, you have joined those who have been unjust to their own souls."

"And invoke not besides Allâh, any such that will neither profit you nor harm you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers).[1]"

"'Nor call on any, other than Allah;- Such will neither profit thee nor hurt thee: if thou dost, behold! thou shalt certainly be of those who do wrong.'"

and ‘Do not invoke, instead of Allah, what can neither benefit nor harm you—for if you do, then you will certainly be one of the wrongdoers,’

do not pray to any other [god] that can neither benefit nor harm you: if you do, you will be one of the evildoers.

and do not call, apart from God, on that which neither profits nor hurts thee, for if thou dost, then thou wilt surely be of the evildoers.

and call not besides God on what can neither profit thee nor harm thee; for if thou dost, verily, thou art then of the unjust!'

And, set your purpose resolutely for religion as a "Hanif" (a man upright by nature); and be not of the idolaters;

And do not invoke, apart from Allah, that which neither profits nor harms you; then in case you do this, then you will surely be of the unjust (people).

neither invoke, besides God, that which can neither profit thee nor hurt thee: For if thou do, thou wilt then certainly become one of the unjust.

" 'And do not pray to any other than Allah— Such (others) will neither help you nor hurt you: If you do, look! You shall truly be from those who do wrong. ' "

"And do not call upon, apart from Allâh any other that can neither do good to you, nor can harm you (of his own) for if you do so you shall certainly be of the unjust". '

Nor invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor can do you any harm. For if you do so, then you will indeed be among the wrongdoers.’’ ’
