113. Surah Al-Falaq The Dawn

  • بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

    Bismi Allahi arrahmani arraheem

    In the name of Allah, All-Merciful, Most Merciful

  • 1.

    قُلْ اَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِۙ

    Qul aAAoothu birabbi alfalaq

    Say: ‘I seek refuge with the Lord of Daybreak,

  • 2.

    مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ

    Min sharri ma khalaq

    from the evil of what He has created

  • 3.

    وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ

    Wamin sharri ghasiqin ithawaqab

    and from the evil of the darkness when it gathers

  • 4.

    وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِۙ

    Wamin sharri annaffathatifee alAAuqad

    and from the evil of women who blow on knots

  • 5.

    وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ

    Wamin sharri hasidin itha hasad

    and from the evil of an envier when he envies. ’
