9. Surah At-Tawbah, Verse 70
اَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَاُ الَّذ۪ينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَاَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِۜ اَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِۚ فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلٰكِنْ كَانُٓوا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Alam ya/tihim nabao allatheena minqablihim qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waqawmiibraheema waas-habi madyana walmu/tafikatiatat-hum rusuluhum bilbayyinati fama kanaAllahu liyathlimahum walakin kanooanfusahum yathlimoon
Has the news of those who came before them not reached them the people of Nuh and ‘Ad and Thamud, and the people of Ibrahim and the inhabitants of Madyan and the overturned cities? Their Messengers brought them the Clear Signs. Allah did not wrong them; rather they wronged themselves.
