7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 94

And We do not send a prophet to any town, except afterwards We would afflict its people with hardship and adversity that they may implore.

We sent no Prophet to a community without Our Law of Requital trying them with adversity and tribulation for their wrongdoings, so that they become humble.

And We sent not to a city a prophet save that We took its people with affliction and adversity, that they might humble themselves.

And We do not send a prophet to any town, except afterwards We afflict its people with adversity and hardship that they may implore.

Whenever We sent a prophet to any town, We would afflict its people with hardship and adversity so that they may implore.

We have never sent a Prophet to any city without seizing its people with hardship and distress so that hopefully they would be humble.

Whenever we sent a prophet to any community, we afflicted its people with adversity and hardship, that they may implore.

There is not a region to which We sent a prophet and did not inflict upon its people adversity and hardship so that they may submit.

And We sent to no city a prophet [who was denied] except that We seized its people with poverty and hardship that they might humble themselves [to Allah ].

AND NEVER YET have We sent a prophet unto any community without trying its people with misfortune and hardship, so that they might humble themselves;

And We sent no prophet unto any township but We did afflict its folk with tribulation and adversity that haply they might grow humble.

Nor did We ever send a Prophet to a town* with the spirit of truth guiding into all truth but We afflicted its people with misfortunes and wedded them to calamities in the hope they would, for their own sake, humble themselves to Allah.

Whenever I sent a prophet to a nation, I tried them in hardship and sufferings so that they humble themselves.

And We sent no Prophet unto any town (and they denied him), but We seized its people with suffering from extreme poverty (or loss in wealth) and loss of health (and calamities), so that they might humiliate themselves (and repent to Allâh).

Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We took up its people in suffering and adversity, in order that they might learn humility.

Whenever We sent a prophet to a society, We afflicted its ˹disbelieving˺ people with suffering and adversity, so perhaps they would be humbled.

We did not send any prophet to a town, but We seized its people with hardship and suffering, so that they may turn humble.

Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We afflicted its [disbelieving] people with suffering and hardships, so that they might humble themselves [before God],

We have sent no Prophet to any city but that We seized its people with misery and hardship, that haply they might be humble;

We have not sent unto a city any prophet except we overtook the people thereof with trouble and distress, that haply they might humble themselves;

We have not sent unto a community any prophet but We inflicted the people thereof with tribulation (suffering, distress) and adversity, that per chance (or possibly) they might humble themselves.

And in no way have We sent any Prophet into a town except that We took its population with misery and tribulation that possibly they would earnestly supplicate (Us).

And never did We send a Prophet to any town but We did seize its people with adversity and suffering, that they might humble themselves.

And whenever We sent a prophet to a town (and they rejected him, ) We helped its people in suffering and misfortune, so that they might learn humility.

And never did We send any Prophet to any township but We afflicted its people with destitution (from Our blessings) and with tribulations so that they might grow humble (before the Almighty).

We did not send a prophet to any town without visiting its people with stress and distress so that they might entreat [for Allah’s forgiveness].
