7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 130

And We afflicted the people of Pharaoh with years of drought, and a shortage in crops, perhaps they will remember.

The unjust system of Pharaoh and his people began to waver (7:94). When Our Requital struck them with famine, and scanty crop (they found themselves ill prepared for the relief efforts). They should have stopped to think.

And We seized the house of Pharaoh with drought and loss of crops, that they might take heed.

And We afflicted the people of Pharaoh with years of drought, and a shortage in crops, perhaps they would remember.

We then afflicted the people of Pharaoh with years of drought, a shortage in crops, so that they might take heed.

We seized Pharaoh’s people with years of drought and scarcity of fruits so that hopefully they would pay heed.

We then afflicted Pharaoh's people with drought, and shortage of crops, that they may take heed.

We afflicted the people of Pharaoh with famine and dearth of everything that they might take heed.

And We certainly seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and a deficiency in fruits that perhaps they would be reminded.

And most certainly did We overwhelm Pharaoh's people with drought and scarcity of fruits, so that they might take it to heart.

And we straitened Pharaoh's folk with famine and dearth of fruits, that peradventure they might heed.

We subjected Pharaoh and his people to a retributory punishment and made them suffer heavy damage. They were pined with dearth, hunger and drought for years that they may hopefully humble themselves to Him and lift to Him their inward sight.

Then I subjected the Pharaoh's people to several years of drought and famine (giving them thus a respite out of mercy) so that they may come to their senses.

And indeed We punished the people of Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) with years of drought and shortness of fruits (crops), that they might remember (take heed).

We punished the people of Pharaoh with years (of droughts) and shortness of crops; that they might receive admonition.

Indeed, We afflicted Pharaoh’s people with famine and shortage of crops so they might come back ˹to their senses˺.

And We seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and poor production of fruits, so that they may learn a lesson.

We inflicted years of drought and crop failure on Pharaoh’s people, so that they might take heed,

Then seized We Pharaoh's people with years of dearth, and scarcity of fruits, that haply they might remember.

We had overtaken Pharaoh's people with the years (of dearth) and scarcity of fruits, that haply they might remember;

We punished Pharaoh's people with the years (of drought) and scarcity of fruit or crops), that per chance (or possibly) they might remember.

And indeed We already took the house of Firaawn (to task) with years (of dearth), and diminution of products, that possibly they would constantly remember.

And We afflicted Pharaoh's people with years of draught and scarcity of fruits, that they might take heed.

And indeed, We punished the people of Firon (Pharaoh) with years (of drought) and shortness of crops; That they might listen to guidance.

And We, surely, seized Pharaoh's followers with years of drought and scarcity of fruits and children so that they might take heed.

Certainly We afflicted Pharaoh’s clan with droughts and loss of produce, so that they may take admonition.
