7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 130
وَلَقَدْ اَخَذْنَٓا اٰلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّن۪ينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
Walaqad akhathna alafirAAawna bissineena wanaqsin mina aththamaratilaAAallahum yaththakkaroon
We seized Pharaoh’s people with years of drought and scarcity of fruits so that hopefully they would pay heed.
