7. Surah Al-A'raf, Verse 11

And We created you, then We shaped you, then We said to the Angels: "Submit to Adam;" so they submitted except for Satan, he was not of those who submitted.

We created you, then shaped you, then told the angels, "Be of service to Adam! And they agreed to be of service, all but Iblis (Satan). He was not of the subservient.

And We created you; then We formed you; then said We to the angels: “Submit to Adam,” and they submitted. Not so Iblīs; he was not of those who submit.

And We created you, then We shaped you, then We said to the angels: "Yield to Adam;" so they yielded except for Satan, he was not of those who yielded.

We created you, We shaped you, and then We said to the controllers: "Submit to Adam;" so they submitted except for Satan, he was not of those who submitted.

We created you and then formed you and then We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate before Adam,’ and they prostrated – except for Iblis. He was not among those who prostrated.

We created you, then we shaped you, then we said to the angels, "Fall prostrate before Adam." They fell prostrate, except Iblees (Satan); he was not with the prostrators.

Verily We created you and gave you form and shape, and ordered the angels to bow before Adam in homage; and they all bowed but Iblis who was not among those who bowed.

And We have certainly created you, [O Mankind], and given you [human] form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.

Yea, indeed, We have created you, and then formed you; and then We said unto the angels, "Prostrate yourselves before Adam!" - whereupon they [all] prostrated themselves, save Iblis: he was not among those who prostrated themselves.

And We created you, then fashioned you, then told the angels: Fall ye prostrate before Adam! And they fell prostrate, all save Iblis, who was not of those who make prostration.

And We brought you into being by a special creation, and We fashioned you and gave you form and countenance and made you a determinate exalted being. Then We said to the augels: "Prostrate yourselves to Adam -your archetype- in adoration" and the angels prostrated in comely order, praise and adoration, except Iblis who aspersed with calumny and declined.

I created you, then shaped you and then said to the angels, "Fall prostrate before Adam. " They all obeyed and fell prostrate except Satan who disobeyed.

And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being); then We told the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam", and they prostrated themselves, except Iblîs (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrated themselves.

It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels prostrate to Adam, and they prostrate; not so Iblis; He refused to be of those who prostrate.

Surely We created you,[1] then shaped you, then said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam," so they all did—but not Iblîs,[2] who refused to prostrate with the others.

We created you, then gave you a shape, then We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves before ’Ādam." So, they all prostrated themselves, except Iblīs (Satan). He did not join those who fell prostrate.

We created you, We gave you shape, and then We said to the angels, ‘Bow down before Adam,’ and they did. But not Iblis: he was not one of those who bowed down.

We created you, then We shaped you, then We said to the angels: 'Bow yourselves to Adam'; so they bowed themselves, save Iblis -- he was not of those that bowed themselves.

and we created you, then we fashioned you, then we said unto the angels, ' Adore Adam,' and they adored, save Iblis, who was not of those who did adore.

It is We who created you, and then gave you Form (shape), then We said unto the angels, "Prostrate yourselves before Adam (do him obeisance)," and they fell prostrate, except Iblis, who was not of those who make prostration (or have humility).

And indeed We already created you, thereafter We fashioned you, thereafter We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam;" so they prostrated, except Iblîs; he was not of the prostrators.

We created you, and afterwards formed you; and then said unto the angels, worship Adam; and they all worshipped him, except Eblis, who was not one of those who worshipped.

It is We Who created you and gave you shape; Then We asked the angels to bow down to Adam, and they bowed down, except Satan, he refused to be of those (angels) who bowed down.

We did determine you, then We gave you shape, then said to the angels, `Make submission to (the Children of) Adam,' so they all submitted. But Iblîs (did not), he would not be of those who submit.

Certainly We created you, then We formed you, then We said to the angels, ‘Prostrate before Adam. ’ So they [all] prostrated, but not Iblis: he was not among those who prostrated.
