6. Surah Al-An'am, Verse 69

And the righteous are not required to take responsibility for them, but a reminder so perhaps they will be aware.

Those who walk aright bear no responsibility for them, except decent follow up reminders, so that the fellow human beings might reflect and come to walk the Right Path.

And not upon those of prudent fear is any account for them in anything but a reminder, that they might be in prudent fear.

And those who are righteous are not responsible for their judgement, but to remind; perhaps they will be aware.

Those who are aware are not held accountable for them, but a reminder may help them to be aware.

Abandon those who have turned their deen into a game and a diversion and who have been deluded by the life of this world. Remind by it lest a person is delivered up to destruction for what he has earned with no protector or intercessor besides Allah. Were he to offer every kind of compensation, it would not be accepted from him. Such people are delivered up to destruction for what they have earned. They will have scalding water to drink and a painful punishment because they were kafir.

The righteous are not responsible for the utterances of those people, but it may help to remind them; perhaps they may be saved.

As for the heedful and devout, they are not accountable for them, but should give advice: They may haply come to fear God.

And those who fear Allah are not held accountable for the disbelievers at all, but [only for] a reminder - that perhaps they will fear Him.

for whom those who are conscious of God are in no wise accountable. Theirs, however, is the duty to admonish [the sinners], so that they might become conscious of God.

Those who ward off (evil) are not accountable for them in aught, but the Reminder (must be given them) that haply they (too) may ward off (evil).

Those who entertain the profound reverence dutiful to Allah are in no way accountable to Allah for the deeds or actions of the wrongful However they should put them in mind of the truth hoping to bring them to their senses and. Induce them to entertain the profound reverence dutiful to Allah.

The righteous people are surely not responsible for the mockery of the disbelievers. However, if they admonish the disbelievers, the latter may come to their senses.

Those who fear Allâh, keep their duty to Him and avoid evil are not responsible for them (the disbelievers) in any case, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may fear Allah (and refrain from mocking at the Qur’ân). [The provision of this Verse was abrogated by the Verse 4:140].

On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may (learn to) fear Allah.

Those mindful ˹of Allah˺ will not be accountable for those ˹who ridicule it˺ whatsoever—their duty is to advise, so perhaps the ridiculers will abstain.

Those who fear Allah are not responsible for any (evil) act in the account of these (infidels), except for advising them, so that they may be careful.

The righteous are not in any way held accountable for the wrongdoers; their only duty is to remind them, so that they may be mindful of God.

Nothing of their account falls upon those that are godfearing; but a reminding; haply they will be godfearing.

Those who fear are not bound to take account of them at all, but mind!- haply they may fear.

Those who fear (or avoid evil, the righteous) are not accountable for them at all, but remind them (or give them the Reminder, i. e. the teachings of the Quran) that per chance (or possibly) they may learn to fear (Allah).

And in no way are the ones who are pious (responsible) for their reckoning in anything. But (it is only) a Reminding, that possibly they would be pious.

And those who are righteous are not at all accountable for them, but their duty is to admonish them that they may fear Allah.

Those who guard against evil are not in the least accountable for these (evil doers). They are only to admonish (them) so that they may too guard against evil.

Those who are Godwary are in no way accountable for them, but this is merely for admonition’s sake, so that they may beware.
