59. Surah Al-Hashr, Verse 21

Had We sent down this Quran to a mountain, you would have seen it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for God. And such are the examples We cite for the people, that they may reflect.

Had We sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have indeed seen it humble itself and rent asunder for Awesomeness of Allah. Such examples We cite for mankind, so that they might think.

Had We sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, thou hadst seen it humbled, split asunder from fear of God. And those similitudes — We strike them for mankind, that they might reflect.

Had We sent down this Qur'an to a mountain, you would have seen it trembling, crumbling, out of concern from God. And such are the examples We put forth for the people, that they may reflect.

Had We sent down this Quran to a mountain, you would have seen it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for God. Such are the examples We cite for the people, that they may reflect.

If We had sent down this Qur’an onto a mountain, you would have seen it humbled, crushed to pieces out of fear of Allah. We make such examples for people so that hopefully they will reflect.

If we revealed this Quran to a mountain, you would see it trembling, crumbling, out of reverence for GOD. We cite these examples for the people, that they may reflect.

If We had sent down this Qur'an to a mountain you would have seen it turn desolate and split into two for fear of God. We offer these examples to men that they may think and reflect.

If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.

HAD WE bestowed this Qur’an from on high upon a mountain, thou wouldst indeed see it humbling itself, breaking asunder for awe of God. And [all] such parables We propound unto men, so that they might [learn to] think.

If We had caused this Qur'an to descend upon a mountain, thou (O Muhammad) verily hadst seen it humbled, rent asunder by the fear of Allah. Such similitudes coin We for mankind that haply they may reflect.

Had We revealed this Quran to a mountain and it could perceive the picture of what it represents and the complete glory in which it reveals itself, you would see it shaking with such fits of awe and shivering into atoms for the profound reverence dutiful to Allah. Such parables do We discourse to people that they may hopefully ponder, and that they may hopefully think and reflect before they act.

Had God sent down this Qur’an to the mountain, you would have seen the mountain to crack down itself out of awe. By these types of examples God makes his points to be understood by those who use their brain to think.

Had We sent down this Qur’ân on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rent asunder by the fear of Allâh. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect.[1]

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.

Had We sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have certainly seen it humbled and torn apart in awe of Allah. We set forth such comparisons for people, ˹so˺ perhaps they may reflect.[1]

Had We sent down this Qur’ān to a mountain, you would have seen it humbled, burst apart out of awe for Allah. We cite such examples for people, so that they may ponder.

If We had sent this Quran down to a mountain, you [Prophet] would have seen it humbled and split apart in its awe of God: We offer people such illustrations so that they may reflect.

If We had sent down this Koran upon a mountain, thou wouldst have seen it humbled, split asunder out of the fear of God. And those similitudes -- We strike them for men; haply they will reflect.

Had we sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, thou wouldst have seen it humbling itself, splitting asunder from the fear of God! These parables do we strike out for men; haply they may reflect!

Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would certainly have seen it falling down (humbled), splitting asunder because of the fear of Allah, and We set forth these parables to men that they may reflect.

If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, indeed you would have seen it submissive, sundered apart out of apprehension of Allah; and those similitudes We strike for mankind, that possibly they would meditate.

If We had sent down this Koran on a mountain, thou wouldest certainly have seen the same humble itself, and cleave in sunder for fear of God. These similitudes do We propose unto men, that they may consider.

If We sent down this Quran on a mountain, surely, you would have seen it humble itself and split open with the fear of Allah. Such are the examples that We offer men that they may (deeply) think.

Had We revealed this Qur'ân on a mountain, you would have surely seen it falling down in all humility and splitting asunder for awe of Allâh. These are wonderful things which We narrate for mankind that they may give thought.

Had We sent down this Qur’ān upon a mountain, you would have surely seen it humbled [and] go to pieces with the fear of Allah. We draw such comparisons for mankind, so that they may reflect.
