57. Surah Al-Hadid, Verse 29
لِئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ اَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ اَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلٰى شَيْءٍ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللّٰهِ وَاَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللّٰهِ يُؤْت۪يهِ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَاللّٰهُ ذُوالْفَضْلِ الْعَظ۪يمِ
Li-alla yaAAlama ahlu alkitabialla yaqdiroona AAala shay-in min fadli Allahiwaanna alfadla biyadi Allahi yu/teehi man yashaowallahu thoo alfadli alAAatheem
So that the People of the Book may know that they have no power at all over any of Allah’s favour and that all favour is in the Hand of Allah. He gives it to anyone He wills. Allah’s favour is indeed immense.
