54. Surah Al-Qamar, Verse 46

The Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is far worse and more painful.

Nay, the Hour is the time promised them, and that Hour will be most grievous with a most bitter defeat.

The truth is, the Hour is their appointment; and the Hour is more calamitous and more bitter.

The Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is far worse and more painful.

The moment is their appointed time, and the moment is far worse and more painful.

In fact the Hour is their promised appointment and the Hour is more disastrous and bitter!

The Hour is awaiting them, and the Hour is far worse and more painful.

Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing.

But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.

But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter:

Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure).

Further, there awaits them the foreordained unfortunate Hour when they come to judgment and indeed worse and worse, painful and grievous, is that predetermined Hour.

They will see the real misery, however, on the Day of their Resurrection;… it is far worse and more painful.

Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter.

Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter.

Better yet, the Hour is their appointed time—and the Hour will be most catastrophic and most bitter.

Rather the Hour (of judgment) is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour is more calamitous and much more bitter.

But the Hour is their appointed time- the Hour is more severe and bitter:

Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter.

Nay, the Hour is their promised time! and the Hour is most severe and bitter!

Nay, the Hour is their promised time, and the Hour shall be most grievous and bitter.

No indeed, (but) the Hour is their appointment, and the Hour is more calamitous and more bitter.

But the hour of judgment is their threatened time of punishment: And that hour shall be more grievous and more bitter than their afflictions in this life.

No! But the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most painful and most bitter.

The (promised) Hour (of their complete discomfiture) is their appointed time. The fact is that the Hour will be grievously calamitous and most bitter.

Rather the Hour is their tryst; and the Hour will be most calamitous and bitter.
