5. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 71
وَحَسِبُٓوا اَلَّا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُوا وَصَمُّوا ثُمَّ تَابَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا وَصَمُّوا كَث۪يرٌ مِنْهُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ بَص۪يرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ
Wahasiboo alla takoonafitnatun faAAamoo wasammoo thumma taba AllahuAAalayhim thumma AAamoo wasammoo katheerun minhum wallahubaseerun bima yaAAmaloon
They thought there would be no fitna. They were blind and deaf. Then Allah turned towards them. Then many of them went blind and deaf again. Allah sees what they do.
