5. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 58

And if you call to the contact-method, they take it as fun and games. That is because they are a people who do not understand.

When you call to prayer, they mock at it and make a jest of it, simply because they are a people who do not use reason. (They know not that the call with its clearest Mission Statement is unique in the world and speaks volumes of the conviction behind it).

And when you call to the duty they take it in mockery and fun, for it is that they are people who do not reason!

And if you call to the contact prayer, they take it for mockery and play. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.

If you call to the contact prayer, they take it as fun and games. That is because they are a people who do not reason.

When you call to salat they make a mockery and a game of it. That is because they are people who do not use their intellect.

When you call to the Contact Prayers (Salat), they mock and ridicule it. This is because they are people who do not understand.

(Nor make friends with) those who, when you call (the faithful) to prayer, make mock of it and jest, because they do not understand.

And when you call to prayer, they take it in ridicule and amusement. That is because they are a people who do not use reason.

for, when you call to prayer, they mock at it and make a jest of it-simply because they are people who do not use their reason.

And when ye call to prayer they take it for a jest and sport. That is because they are a folk who understand not.

And when you call to prayer, they mockingly mimic and deride the act of worship and amuse themselves with what they hear and see. This is because they are a people who lack the faculty of comprehending intellectually.

The latter make a fun of it when you invite the Believers to worship with your chant. This is because they are not capable of understanding.

And when you proclaim the call for As-Salât [call for the prayer (Adhân)], they take it (but) as a mockery and fun; that is because they are a people who understand not.[1]

When ye proclaim your call to prayer they take it (but) as mockery and sport; that is because they are a people without understanding.

When you call to prayer, they mock it in amusement. This is because they are a people without understanding.

When you call for Salāh, they take it in jest and fun. That is because they are a people who do not understand

When you make the call to prayer, they ridicule it and make fun of it: this is because they are people who do not reason.

and when you call to prayer, take it in mockery and as a sport; that is because they are a people who have no understanding.

Nor those who, when ye call to prayer, take it for a jest and a sport; that is because they are a people who do not understand.

Nor those who, when you call to prayer, take it for a jest and a sport; that is because they are a people without understanding.

And when you call out to prayer, they take it to themselves in mockery and as a plaything; that is they are a people who do not consider.

nor those who, when ye call to prayer, make a laughing-stock and a jest of it, this they do, because they are people who do not understand.

And when you recite your call to prayer they take it as a joke without (any) seriousness that is because they are a people without understanding.

And when you call (the people) to Prayer, they take it lightly and consider it worthless. They do so because they are a people who do not understand.

When you call to prayer, they take it in derision and play. That is because they are a people who do not apply reason.
