49. Surah Al-Hujurat, Verse 6
يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اِنْ جَٓاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَأٍ۬ فَتَبَيَّنُٓوا اَنْ تُص۪يبُوا قَوْماً بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلٰى مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِم۪ينَ
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooin jaakum fasiqun binaba-in fatabayyanoo an tuseebooqawman bijahalatin fatusbihoo AAala mafaAAaltum nadimeen
You who have iman! if a deviator brings you a report, scrutinize it carefully in case you attack people in ignorance and so come to greatly regret what you have done.
