47. Surah Muhammad, Verse 36

This worldly life is no more than play and vanity. But if you believe and lead a righteous life, He will reward you, and He will not ask you for your wealth.

The life of this world is but a sport and amusement. But if you believe and walk aright, He will give you your rewards, and will not ask you to give up your wealth.

The life of this world is only play and diversion; and if you believe and are in prudent fear, He will give you your rewards, and not ask of you your wealth.

The worldly life is no more than play and distraction. But if you believe and lead a righteous life, He will reward you, and He will not ask you for your wealth.

This worldly life is no more than play and vanity. But if you acknowledge and lead a righteous life, He will reward you, and He will not ask you for your wealth.

The life of this world is merely a game and a diversion. If you have iman and taqwa, He will pay you your wages and not ask you for all your wealth.

This worldly life is no more than play and vanity. But if you believe and lead a righteous life, He will reward you, without asking you for any money.

Verily the life of this world is no more than a sport and frivolity. If you believe and fear God, he will give you your reward, and will not ask for your possessions.

[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.

The life of this world is but a play and a passing delight: but if you believe [in God] and are conscious of Him, He will grant you your deserts. And withal, He does not demand of you [to sacrifice in His cause all of] your possessions:

The life of the world is but a sport and a pastime. And if ye believe and ward off (evil). He will give you your wages, and will not ask of you your wordly wealth.

And keep in mind that life here is but an illusive and rapid change of feeling, fancy and thought, and an amusement which brings happiness to those who cannot think. But if your hearts are impressed with the image of religious and spiritual virtues and you entertain the profound reverend dutiful to Allah, He will pay you all you merit and He will not ask you to spend your wealth in His cause except to give zakat (alms); for zakat is but the vehicle of prayer and if he -the needy- be hungry, it is zakat that feeds him.

Know that the life of this world is nothing but a game and an entertainment. If you believe and lead a righteous life, God will reward you without asking a price for it.

The life of this world is but play and pastime; but if you believe (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism), and fear Allâh, and avoid evil, He will grant you your wages, and will not ask you your wealth.

The life of this world is but play and amusement: and if ye believe and guard against Evil, He will grant you your recompense, and will not ask you (to give up) your possessions.

This worldly life is no more than play and amusement. But if you are faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, He will grant you your ˹full˺ reward, and will not ask you ˹to donate all˺ your wealth.

The worldly life is but play and pastime. If you believe and be God-fearing, He will give you your rewards, and will not ask you your riches.

the life of this world is only a game, a pastime, but if you believe and are mindful of God, He will recompense you. He does not ask you to give up [all] your posses-sions-

The present life is naught but a sport and a diversion; and if you believe and are godfearing, He will give you your wages, and will not ask of you your goods.

The life of this world is but a play and a sport; but if ye believe and fear God, He will give you your hire.

The life of this world is only idle sport and pastime, and if you believe and guard (against evil) He will give you your wages, and will not ask of you your possessions.

Surely the present life (Literally: the lowly life, i. e., the life of this world) is only playing and diversion; and in case you believe and be pious, He will bring you your rewards and will not ask of you your riches.

Verily this present life is only a play and a vain amusement: But if ye believe, and fear God, He will give you your rewards. He doth not require of you your whole substance:

The worldly life is nothing except a mere diversion (like play and amusement): And if you believe and guard against evil, He (Allah) will grant you your due rewards, and (He) will not ask you (for) your possessions.

(Hypocrites!) the present life is only unreal and makes you ignore and forgetful (of your duties towards God). If you believe and guard against evil He will give you your reward and will not ask of you your wealth (to confiscate it from you but He wishes to repay the efforts you make with your wealth).

The life of the world is just play and diversion, but if you are faithful and Godwary, He will give you your rewards, and will not ask your wealth [in return] from you.
