45. Surah Al-Jathiyah, Verse 23
اَفَرَاَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ اِلٰهَهُ هَوٰيهُ وَاَضَلَّهُ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى عِلْمٍ وَخَتَمَ عَلٰى سَمْعِه۪ وَقَلْبِه۪ وَجَعَلَ عَلٰى بَصَرِه۪ غِشَاوَةًۜ فَمَنْ يَهْد۪يهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ اللّٰهِۜ اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Afaraayta mani ittakhatha ilahahuhawahu waadallahu Allahu AAalaAAilmin wakhatama AAala samAAihi waqalbihi wajaAAala AAalabasarihi ghishawatan faman yahdeehi min baAAdi Allahiafala tathakkaroon
Have you seen him who takes his whims and desires to be his god – whom Allah has misguided knowingly, sealing up his hearing and his heart and placing a blindfold over his eyes? Who then will guide him after Allah? So will you not pay heed?
