41. Surah Fussilat, Verse 51

And when We bless the human being, he withdraws and turns away, and when he suffers any adversity, he implores in long prayers!

Also, when We bestow Bliss on man, he turns away, and withdraws aside, but when a hurt touches him, then he is full of prayers. (17:83).

And when We favour man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then is he full of long supplication.

And when We bless man, he withdraws and turns away, and when he suffers any adversity, then he implores at length!

When We bless the human being, he withdraws and turns away, and when he suffers any adversity, he implores in long prayers!

When We grant blessing to a man, he turns away and draws aside but when any evil touches him, he is full of endless prayers!

When we bless the human being, he turns away, and drifts farther and farther away, and when he suffers any affliction, he implores loudly.

When We show Our favours to man he moves away and turns aside; but when in trouble he prays a great deal.

And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.

And, too, when We bestow Our blessings upon man, he tends to turn aside and keep aloof [from remembering Us]; but as soon as evil fortune touches him, he is full of wordy prayers!

When We show favour unto man, he withdraweth and turneth aside, but when ill toucheth him then he aboundeth in prayer.

And when We mercifully bring man in Our grace and show it in Our munificence, he feels impelled to move away and more distant from what Allah inclines him to propound. And when he is befallen with a misfortune or wedded to a calamity- in consequence of his wrongful and unclean hands- he spends his breath invoking Allah's mercy and blessings,

When I bless man, he turns away and forgets about his Lord; but when in trouble, he comes to Me with lengthy prayers.

And when We show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away; but when evil touches him, then he has recourse to long supplications.

When We bestow favours on man, he turns away, and gets himself remote on his side (instead of coming to Us); and when evil seizes him, (he comes) full of prolonged prayer!

When We show favour to someone, they turn away, acting arrogantly. And when touched with evil, they make endless prayers ˹for good˺.

When We bestow Our favor upon man, he avoids (to appreciate it) and keeps himself far aside (from obedience), and when some evil touches him, he is full of lengthy prayers.

Whenever We are gracious to man, he goes away haughtily, but, as soon as evil touches him, he turns to prolonged prayer.

And when We bless man, he turns away and withdraws aside; but when evil visits him, he is full of endless prayers.

And when we have been gracious to man, he turns away and goes aside; but when evil touches him he is one of copious prayer.

And when We show favour to man, he turns aside and withdraws himself; and when evil touches him, he makes lengthy supplications.

And when We favor man, he veers away and retires aside, (Literally: retires with his side) and when evil touches him, then he is the owner of abounding (Literally: broad) invocation.

When We confer favours on man, he turneth aside, and departeth without returning thanks: But when evil toucheth him, he is frequent at prayer.

And when We grant favor to man, he turns away (arrogantly), and pulls himself to his side (instead of coming to Us); But when evil comes to him, (then he comes) full of long prayer (and supplications)!

And when We bestow a favour on a person he turns aside (ungratefully) and behaves with pride. But when evil befalls him, he is full of lengthy supplications and prayers.

When We bless man, he is disregardful and turns aside; but when an ill befalls him, he makes protracted supplications.
