40. Surah Ghafir, Verse 36

And Pharaoh said: "O Haamaan, build for me a high platform that I may uncover the secrets. "

(Thus spoke the believer among Pharaoh's folk. ) And Pharaoh remarked, "O Haman! Build for me a lofty tower that I may have enough means.

And Pharaoh said: “O Hāmān: build thou for me a tower, that I might reach the causes,

And Pharaoh said: "O Haamaan, build for me a high platform that I may uncover the secrets."

Pharaoh said, "O Haman, build for me a high platform that I may uncover the secrets."

Pharaoh said, ‘Haman, build me a tower so that perhaps I may gain means of access,

Pharaoh said, "O Haamaan, build for me a high tower, that I may reach out and discover.

The Pharaoh said: "O Haman, build me a lofty tower that I may perhaps find the means

And Pharaoh said, "O Haman, construct for me a tower that I might reach the ways -

But Pharaoh said: "O Haman! Build me a lofty tower, that haply I may attain to the [right] means

And Pharaoh said: O Haman! Build for me a tower that haply I may reach the roads,

And Pharaoh said to his grand vizier: "O Haman: erect for me a lofty building soaring skyward; I may find the means of attaining my objective, "

Pharaoh then [interrupted the man arrogantly and] said to Haman [his Prime Minister]: "Build for me a tall tower so that I may reach the heaven and look at this god of Moses…

And Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "O Hâmân! Build me a tower that I may arrive at the ways -

Pharaoh said: "O Haman! Build me a lofty palace, that I may attain the ways and means-

Pharaoh ordered, "O Hamân! Build me a high tower so I may reach the pathways

And Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said, "O Hāmān, make a tower for me, perhaps I could reach the ways -

Pharaoh said, ‘Haman, build me a tall tower so that I may reach the ropes that lead

Pharaoh said, 'Haman, build for me a tower, that haply so I may reach the cords,

And Pharaoh said, 'O Haman! build for me a tower, haply I may reach the tracts,-

And Pharaoh said, "O Haman! Build for me a tower that I may attain the ways and means,

And Firaawn (Pharaoh) said, "O Haman, build for me a tower that possibly I would reach the means (of ascension),

And Pharaoh said, O Haman, build me a tower, that I may reach the tracts,

Firon (Pharaoh) said: "O Haman! Build me a lofty tower (high palace), that I may find the ways and means—

And Pharaoh said, `O Hâmân! build for me a lofty tower that I may find access to the means -

And Pharaoh said, ‘O Hāmān! Build me a tower so that I may reach the routes
