34. Surah Saba, Verse 51

And if you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape, and they will be taken from a place that is near.

If you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape and seized at a place nearby.

And if thou couldst see when they are in terror: — but there is no escape — and they are seized from a near place,

And if you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape, and they will be taken from a place that is near.

If you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape, and they will be taken from a place that is near.

If you could only see when they are terrified, and there is no way out, and they are seized from a nearby place.

If you could only see them when the great terror strikes them; they cannot escape then, and they will be taken away forcibly.

If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand

And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby.

IF THOU couldst but see [how the deniers of the truth will fare on Resurrection Day, ] when they will shrink in terror, with nowhere to escape - since they will have been seized from so close nearby

Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand,

And if you Muhammad could envisage the scene which shall excite their terror Hereafter, no escape can they make and they shall be seized in the proximity of Hell.

I wish you could see these people when they face their horrible destiny. They will not be able to escape as they will be seized immediately.

And if you could but see, when they will be terrified with no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a near place.

If thou couldst but see when they will quake with terror; but then there will be no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a position (quite) near.

If only you could see when they will be horrified with no escape ˹on Judgment Day˺! And they will be seized from a nearby place.[1]

And if you could only see when they will be terrified! Then there will be no escape, and they will be seized from a place near at hand.

[Prophet], if you could only see their terror! There will be no escape when they are seized from a nearby place;

Ah, if thou couldst see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a place near at hand,

And couldst thou see when they are scared, and there shall be no escape, and they shall be taken from a place that is nigh.

Say, " If I err, I err only against my own soul, and if I follow a right direction, it is because of what my Lord reveals to me; surely He is Hearing, Nigh.

And if you could see (them) as they get alarmed; so there is no eluding, (i. e., there is no escaping) and they are taken (away) from a place near (at hand).

If thou couldst see, when the unbelievers shall tremble, and shall find no refuge, and shall be taken from a near place,

If you can only see when they will tremble with fear; But at that time there will be no escape and they will be grabbed from a place very near.

And (you will be simply astonished) if you could only see when these (disbelievers) will be in the grip of fear; but then there will be no escape and they will be seized (with punishment) at a place nearby (- at Badr).

Were you to see when they are stricken with terror, [and left] without an escape, and are seized from a close quarter.
