3. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 122

When the two parties from among you were concerned that they should fail; while God was their supporter. In God the believers should trust.

Two groups among you fell short of steadfastness, and your men suffered a temporary setback. And Allah was their Protecting Friend. In Allah believers put their trust.

When two groups among you were about to lose heart, but God was their ally; and in God let the believers place their trust.

When two parties from among you were obsessed that they would fail; while God was their supporter. In God the believers should trust.

When the two parties from among you were concerned about their failure, though God was their ally. In God those who acknowledge should trust.

And remember when two of your clans were on the point of losing heart and Allah was their Protector. Let the muminun put their trust in Allah.

Two groups among you almost failed, but GOD was their Lord. In GOD the believers shall trust.

When two of your bands were about to lose heart God befriended them; and in Him should the faithful place their trust.

When two parties among you were about to lose courage, but Allah was their ally; and upon Allah the believers should rely.

when two groups from among you were about to lose heart, although God was near unto them and it is in God that the believers must place their trust:

When two parties of you almost fell away, and Allah was their Protecting Friend. In Allah let believers put their trust.

Then two of your tribes almost lost heart. However, they were saved by the graceful tutelage of Allah, and in Allah should those whose hearts have been touched with the divine hand put their trust.

Two troops of yours (the one of Banu Salmah & Banu Harithah) were about to show cowardice (when Abdulllah bin Ubayy, the hypocrite, and his troop left the battlefield) not believing that God is present to help them. [This was a lesson so that] The believers should always put their trust in God [even though the odds seems against them.]

When two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allâh was their Walî (Supporter and Protector). And in Allâh should the believers put their trust.

Remember two of your parties Meditated cowardice; but Allah was their protector, and in Allah should the faithful (Ever) put their trust.

˹Remember˺ when two groups among you ˹believers˺ were about to cower, then Allah reassured them. So in Allah let the believers put their trust.

When two of your groups were about to lose heart, while Allah was their guardian! It is in Allah alone that the believers must place their trust.

Remember when two groups of you were about to lose heart and God protected them- let the believers put their trust in God-

when two parties of you were about to lose heart, though God was their Protector -- and in God let the believers put all their trust --

when two companies of you were on the point of showing cowardice; but God was their guardian, for on God surely the believers do rely.

When two companies of you almost fell away in cowardice but Allah was their Guardian (or Protecting Friend), for on Allah surely do believers put their trust.

(Remember) as two sections of you were about to be disheartened, and Allah is their Ever- Patronizing Patron; and on Allah let the believers then put their trust.

when two companies of you were anxiously thoughtful, so that ye became faint-hearted; but God was the supporter of them both; and in God let the faithful trust.

Remember two of your parties took to cowardice; But Allah was their protector, and in Allah should the Faithful keep their trust.

When two groups from among you (- the two clans of Banû Hârithah and Banû Salamah) were disposed to show cowardliness. And Allâh was the Protecting friend of them both, and in Allâh the believers should put their trust.

When two groups among you were about to lose courage, —though Allah is their guardian, and in Allah let all the faithful put their trust.
